Picnic Table Revitalization Project

Glenwood Rotary Club is fundraising to replace the picnic tables in City Park!  The wood picnics tables that currently live in City Park are worn, sagging, and splintered.  In addition, they tip easily and hold moisture, which creates unsafe and unpleasant seating in one of Glenwood’s premier parks!

Glenwood Rotary Club has chosen an 8’ polysteel picnic table, packed with great features, to replace the existing wood tables.  Our goal is to have TWELVE tables purchased and installed by this summer!  These new picnic tables would be an investment into our community—and we are looking for your financial support!

  • Made of polysteel, which does not rust and has a 20-year warranty

  • 8’ length, comfortably seating up to eight adults

  • No-tip, walk-through design

  • Tabletop, seats, and frame coated with a thick UV-stable,
    anti-microbial plastisol

  • Diamond-shaped openings on the surface won’t hold water and
    will dry quickly

  • ADA accessibility on two of the tables

To make this project possible, we need your support!  For $1,200.00, you can sponsor one of 12 picnic tables for City Park, which will have your logo printed in FULL-COLOR on a 4”x6” plaque.  The plaque will be permanently mounted on the center of the tabletop; this highly visible location will showcase your organization every time someone is seated there!  Please consider making this investment in your community, which will be enjoyed by many for years to come!

If you wish to sponsor a polysteel picnic table for $1,200.00, be sure to ACT FAST!  There are only 12 sponsorship opportunities and we expect them to go quickly!  To confirm your sponsorship, contact Jordan McMahon at or (320) 634-1038.

Checks can be made payable to Glenwood Rotary Club and mailed to PO Box 33, Glenwood, MN 56334.

Artwork for your plaque will be needed later this spring; Jordan will reach out to you at that time to help create and finalize your artwork.
